Shaquila Ruby Bruno is the owner and founder of Ruby’s Little GEMS CT which was
established in 2018. Ruby has a Masters Degree in Social Work and an Associates Degree in
Early Childhood Ruby has worked with children and families for over 10 years. She is the proud
mom of her own GEM Taylor Cherry.
Precious GEMS Academy is the second location for Ruby’s Little Gems CT which was established in
2018. Ruby’s Little Gems has remained a 5 star facility with flexible and affordable childcare options for families in Stamford. Precious GEMS Academy will follow in the same footsteps as Ruby’s Little Gems. We believes in ensuring the proper mental, physical, and emotional development of your child.
We follow a flexible daily schedule that meets the individual needs of the diverse population of
children and families served by our program, including those with cultural, language and
developmental differences.The daily schedule includes indoor and outdoor physical activities,
which will allow for fine and gross motor development.

My family is thrilled with the experience we had with Ruby and her staff. Our two-year old gained tremendous social skills, her speech grew exponentially, and she was happy to attend each day. They are very accommodating especially for two working parents.
I am so pleased with the care my granddaughter receives at Ruby’s Little Gens. The daycares are clean and well stocked and colorful. They are so child friendly and safe . The staff is professional, compassionate and so loving towards the children. My granddaughter from day one loves going to Ruby’s Little Gems. Ms. Ruby herself is so sweet. She is a kind, loving, meticulous and pleasant provider and I am thankful that I have found a daycare provider who I can trust.
We have been sending our son here since he was a baby and we love it. Ruby really cares for the kids and treats them like family. She is smart and open with her parents. We always feel comfortable talking to her about our son’s performance. During the COVID-19 pandemic they have been taking extra safety precautions and communicating often with us. All of the workers at the daycare are incredible And work so hard, especially Ashley who is the kindest, sweetest , most reliable person to ever care for our son. We feel very blessed to have them care for our child. Recently they have been helping with potty training. I am amazed how conversational my son is, how many words and numbers he knows and how socially adept he is. I really wished we had discovered this place sooner. 5 stars!!!!
